The Vision and Mission statements of the Ongole University reflect our determination to assiduously pursue and achieve our goals .The University is committed to continue to be at the forefront of providing the best tertiary education to our students and acting as a catalyst in shaping a bright and sustainable future of our nation by acting as a bridge between the University community and the community at large

Vision :

To provide internationally comparable quality higher education and nurture teachers of tomorrow with the transformative knowledge focusing upon the integral development of teachers and secular ideals of the nation . The vision is not only focused on imparting subject knowledge and skills , but also to mould the students with better conduct and character committed to the social needs and national development.

Mision :

To foster all-round development and excellence through multi-faceted education and sustained engagement with local, national and global communities, providing quality teacher education ,nurture lifelong inspired learners and make colleges of education excel through innovative teaching ,research and extension activities

Emblem

This logo comprise of a gear wheel, of which inside globe, sun, open book and bulls in the bottom. 

Outer Circle: Name of University in English and Telugu in which mother language of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Circle: Meaning of the symbol circle is universal, sacred and divine. Thus inner gear wheel represents forces that provide energy, movement or direction and scientific Technical education.

The Nib: The image evokes the shapes of a nib which represent traditional and modern pursuits of knowledge.

The Sun: The symbol of the Sun is an alchemy symbol. It is a symbol of origin that represents the accomplishment of the great work. The Sun represents life, influence and strength.

Globe: A globe is a spherical model of Earth, of some other celestial body of which the process of continuous evolution.

The open book:  The open book on the lower part of the emblem enlightens the endless knowledge.

Bulls: It denote the culture and tradition and are an indigenous cattle breed that originates from Prakasam District in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The breed derives its name from the place the breed originates from, Ongole. Ongole bulls are more powerful and more strength in all other cattle in India. Ongole bulls are most stability and symbolic for “perseverance” in braiding rings.

The Upanishad slogan: It appears from logo ‘Vidya Darya Viswa Shreya’ which means if acquire Education, the world will flourish. In other words the education gives prosperity to the world.

The colour: Blue indicates education and empowerment, the white denotes the peace and purity.
